David “Dave” Douglas,
CEO, Adlinc
Adlinc draws strength from its dedicated employees and the extraordinary journey of its founder and CEO, David Douglas. From his early years in rural Jamaica to a distinguished career in North America, David’s story embodies resilience, entrepreneurship, and visionary leadership.
As the youngest of seven children, David faced adversity early on, including his parents’ separation and the loss of his father during his childhood. Raised by his grandparents in a modest household without modern conveniences, David developed a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit that would shape his future.
At 17, David joined his mother in Toronto, Canada, where he pursued education as an Aviation Manufacturing Engineer and gained valuable discipline through service in the Canadian Armed Forces.
David’s corporate career spanned 22 years with industry giants like Boeing and Bombardier Aerospace. Advancing from Methods Analyst to Director of Customer Account Management and Flight Operations, he played a pivotal role in enhancing customer experiences for leading aviation brands.
In 2019, David and his wife acquired Crosstown Couriers in Tampa, Florida, shortly before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through strategic investments in technology and operational improvements, David navigated the company to growth amidst unprecedented challenges.
Inspired by a vision for transformative outsourcing solutions, David launched Adlinc. Headquartered in Jamaica, Adlinc offers customized services across diverse industries, including logistics, healthcare, and aviation, exemplifying David’s commitment to innovation and client-centric partnerships.
While David’s wife oversees Crosstown Couriers, he leads Adlinc in expanding its global impact. Beyond business success, Adlinc embodies David’s vision to empower Jamaican talent and foster economic growth through transformative outsourcing solutions.
